One of the statues of Michaelangelo, this one of Jesus Christ is of the few not greatly recognized. The Statue shows Christ carrying his cross. It is found on the church of Santa Maria Sopra minerva, which is the only gothic church in Rome. Also this church is dedicated to the women of the church.
